Whistle was bred by Louise Hoelscher of Poeta Whippets in Canada .
Whistle finished his WRA straight racing title at 16 months , running in only 5 meets , earning points in each one .
At 16 1/2 months he finished 9th at the WRA Nationals ,held in Raeford North Carolina with an entry of 120 dogs . He also made his NOTRA debut the next day , and found his way to 8th place with an entry of 98 dogs !!!
Whistle finished his ORC , winning the last EWA Meet of 2008 !!!!
